Page one and two of the Petition of Charles “Charlitte” Doucet (variously spelled Doucette) and his son Charles for land at what was then called Nepisiquit. It took 17 years before the grant of 200 acres of land was finally given to Charles #2 and by that time his father “Charlitte” had long since passed away.
